Cressida is to direct Macbeth for the Bard En Seine Festival in Rene Vivani Square, Paris. This production took place on the 450th anniversary of Shakespeare's death.

"Here lies the Tyrant"

The world of Macbeth is the world of dictatorship, which has strong parallels to the modern world of falling tyrants, uprisings, civil unrest and war. In this relevant new interpretation child soldiers pervade in a world where it is unclear who is friend and who is foe. This play in the park will make audiences re-evaluate who really is the tyrant in this most famous of Shakespeare’s plays.
