Promise by Megan Barker

Cressida Brown directed final year students at Arts Ed in their first public production. The 'Promise' is an ultimately hopeful piece, written for young performers, which centres on the spate of suicides and subsequent media frenzy that took place in Bridgend.

This was a unique storytelling experience in the immersive space which introduced of fully collaborative verbatim inserts, specially composed music and stylized lighting.
